G'day! We are a family of six traveling around Australia for about 15 months or so. We started the end of November 2014. We don't have a specific end date, and no set itinerary for our journey. We're not sure if we'll make it all the way around or if we'll only go partway.
We're in a Bailey Pegasus Ancona which is a 6-berth van with triple bunks and a full ensuite. Our three oldest kids each have their own bunk and our toddler sleeps with us. The dinette converts into a bed when he's ready for his own. At the front of the van is a U-shaped lounge which makes this van feel so much more like a comfortable home.
We have a full annex that we set up if we are staying in one place for awhile. One of these days I'll get some pictures of the interior of the van and post them. :)
We are homeschooling (or roadschooling) our kids while we travel. We already homeschooled our kids, so the decision to travel was made a little easier since we didn't have to pull them out of school. Our four kids are SkeeterBug (10), JitterBug (8), LadyBug (5) and TurboBug (2). You can read more about our schooling adventures on our homeschool blog. Dad is going to be doing some schooling himself while we travel, getting an online degree while we are on the road.
